Tour Guide Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Embuddie Limited, a tourism platform based in the United Kingdom, and you (“Tour Guide”, “You”, or “Your”) who registers to offer tour services through the Embuddie platform.
By registering on www.embuddie.com as a tour guide, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility
To register as a tour guide:
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must have the legal right to work and offer tourism services in the UK or relevant destination.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at all times.
2. Registration & Profile
You must submit valid documentation (e.g., ID, licenses, certifications) for verification.
Embuddie reserves the right to accept, reject, or remove profiles that do not meet quality or compliance standards.
You are responsible for keeping your profile information updated.
3. Services & Conduct
You agree to deliver professional, safe, and respectful services to all clients.
You must adhere to all local laws, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
You shall not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age, or background.
4. Payments & Fees
Embuddie will process customer payments and release your share according to the agreed payment schedule.
Platform commission fees will be clearly communicated and deducted from your earnings.
You are responsible for any taxes or national insurance on your income.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel a confirmed tour without valid reason or advance notice, penalties may apply (including removal from the platform).
Refund policies for clients will be handled as per Embuddie’s cancellation policy, which may affect your payment entitlement.
6. Reviews & Ratings
Customers can leave reviews based on their experiences.
Repeated negative feedback may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
7. Termination
You can request to deactivate your profile at any time.
Embuddie reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or behave unprofessionally.
8. Data & Privacy
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You agree to only use customer data for the purpose of conducting the booked tour and not for marketing or resale.
9. Liability
You are responsible for your own insurance (e.g., public liability, travel guide insurance).
Embuddie is not liable for injuries, accidents, or disputes that arise during the tour.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under UK jurisdiction.
